Do I need doctor’s referral?
In most instances, a doctor’s referral is not required. However, some extended health benefit insurance would require one. Please check with your insurance carrier directly.
For ICBC and WSBC claims, there are instances wherein you require a doctor’s referral. Contact your claim specialist/case manager if you will need one.
How long will my first appointment be?
Your first appointment will be at least 45 mins.
Our therapist will do a thorough assessment and will discuss with you the treatment options and treatment plan. This is the best time to ask your therapist about your injury and how we can assist with your journey to recovery.
Your First Visit
Please arrive 15 minutes earlier if you have not done your intake form online. Our staff will help you fill out the form.
Wear comfortable clothing for assessment purposes.
Bring the following:
- Care card/PHN card
- For ICBC: claim number, name and contact information of claim specialist
- For WSBC: claim number, name and contact information of case manager
It is also helpful if you could bring result/s of imaging and/or doctor’s referral if you have one. It will help our therapist to have a better understanding of your concern/s.
Need to cancel or reschedule your appointment?
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee.
Cancelling or re-scheduling your appointment is easy. You can do this…
- through our Jane App
- by calling, texting, or leaving us a voicemail at 778-666-3106
